Cool news today for the future of notebooks, and for apple fans. Apple has reduced the price of the SSD (Solid State Harddisk) MacBook Air. These beauties used to cost of $3,000 and now they are a touch about $2,500. They reason for the cut is two fold, one was for the Core2Duo upgrade, now costs $100 instead of $200 and the upgrade to an SSD costs $599 instead of $999 for 64Gb version. So now for two and a half grand you can get a MacBook air with 1.8GHz Core2Duo processor and 64GB SSD. We have some MacBook Airs reviewed if you are interested in reading customer feedback.
