Beckham gets an iPodTouch

David Beckham must be the happiest boy on the England squad seeing as he has just been presented with a new golden apple product. The English team members pitched in to buy him a special present for achieving his 100th cap for his country. David Beckham who is just 32, has already played in his 100th game for England last week against France. Although the game was a friendly, he still came away with a prize in Paris. These pieces of machinery can go for over $20,000. And here is the fine piece of gold

it’s good to see that they splashed out and got him the 32GB version, and for custom engraving We have seen gold shuffles before, but this is the first time we have seen an golden iPhone.

Granted he does come across the best, but for a guy that is 61 he is doing pretty good in our books

If you have suddenly become unhappy with your desktop wallpaper, why not try something more creative. Make your own ! Have a look at how these people, in effect, made their desktop transparent, so that you can see the items behind the screen. Doing something like this will really add a sense of depth to your computer.

In the first one you can see the charger and the chairs behind the screen. And see how the cables match up ! It’s absolutely amazing !

Here is a 2nd Generation iPod, and the background screen has been changed (we will bring you details on how to do this in another post). The background screen of the iPod looks like it’s not really there because it matches up with the pieces of paper on the left and right hand side of it.

New Shuffle Colors

From colourlovers.com they present an interesting comparison between the new shuffle colours and the old shuffle colours. The color of Apple products is something that is chose carefully, and it is a very important part of the design. Choosing the color to reflect your products can be sometimes hit or miss, but the guys at apple seem to have it down to a tee.

Old Shuffle Colors

Here the colors were more hip, and tending toward neon, giving the impression that they are for kids and teenagers. They are bright and they stand out. As these are intended to be worn (clipped) on the users clothes, they will certainly be noticeable.

New Shuffle Colors

Here we have an updated palette for 2007, which tends to be more pastel like, showing a new found maturity. The colors are no longer “in your face” and give me the feeling of a more calm piece of technology.

This week apple released a new iPod, it’s called the iPod touch, code named Hero. It sports many difference on previous generations of the worlds most popular mp3 player.

Now you can have the functionality of the iPhone’s touch screen in an iPod. The display is an amazing 3.5 inch diagonal, and can show videos in wide-screen. It has Apple’s Safari internet browser built in and can use available WiFi internet connections. It is available in 8GB and 16GB and prices start at $299. This is something we will be putting on our Christmas list !

These photos are from iPodLounger, and they show in great detail what these products look like. One interesting we noticed is that the loading screen looks differently, and is in nice color. The new red ipods are that little bit darker, but we think if we had to choose, we would take the old red, because it looks brighter and kinda “happier”. Maybe it just takes a little time to get used to …
