With the latest release of iTunes, there is now the facility for you to buy ringtones and upload them to your cool Apple iPhone. These ringtones will cost 99 cents each for the 30 second snippet of the song.

Personally we don’t think it’s worth it, as there are other ways of getting iPhone ringtones for free.

Last week we read that all officially purchased ringtones have the .M4R extension, so all you have to do is rename any AAC file to a M4R extension file to get it to show up in iTunes under Ringtones.
